Biography
Chasen Cohan is the founding attorney of Cohan PLLC, a Las Vegas trial law firm representing injured people and families in personal injury, wrongful death, premises liability, hotel and casino injury, trucking accident, car accident, catastrophic injury, drowning accident, work accident, and complex litigation matters.
Born and raised in Las Vegas, Chasen brings more than a decade of complex-litigation experience to cases against casinos, corporations, insurance companies, and other powerful defendants. He prepares every case as if it may go to trial because thorough preparation creates leverage—in negotiations, at mediation, and in the courtroom.
Before building a practice centered on injury victims and families, Chasen represented major corporate and institutional clients in high-stakes litigation. That background gives him insight into how large companies and insurers evaluate claims, defend lawsuits, and try to avoid accountability. He uses that experience to fight smarter and harder for his clients.
Chasen graduated with honors from UCLA with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Texas School of Law. During law school, he clerked for the Office of the Texas Attorney General and served as a judicial extern for United States District Judge James R. Nowlin. He is admitted to practice before all Nevada state courts, all Nevada federal courts, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
