Biography
I was born in Great Lakes, Illinois. A “Navy brat,” I had over 10 addresses before my 10th birthday. After multiple cross-country road trips, my family settled in Michigan, where I learned to love hockey after my first time on inline skates. I played baseball at Mount Union College before transferring and graduating from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing in 2006.
After graduation I saved up enough money to make the move to Las Vegas, a place that I had wanted to live since I was a child visiting on family vacations. Las Vegas provided me a chance to grow and find my direction through working in the nonprofit sector. After more than a year of organizing community outreach and volunteer events, I decided I could make my impact through being an attorney.
I began attending California Western School of Law in 2010. During law school, I served as a founding member of the CWSL Chapter of the Student Animal Legal Defense Fund. I was also a member of the Moot Court Honor’s Board Executive Committee, serving as Public Relations Chairperson.
I received my JD from CWSL in April, 2013. Upon passing the Nevada Bar Exam, I spent the next two years assisting my former firm in expanding to Las Vegas, Nevada, In doing so, I acted as Managing Associate opening and operating an office autonomously as the only attorney in our firm licensed in the State.
Now, with the knowledge and experience I gained over those years, I am proud to provide legal services for consumers through my firm, Spartan Law.
