I was referred to Mr. Purdy by my daughter in law. She said he helped her in the past with a ticket and he was wonderful. I am a worry wart and I was terrified that I would get in trouble and go to jail because he didn't show up. I could not have been more wrong. He went above and beyond what I w...ould expected. She gave him my ticket and he said he would try to work it down to an illegal parking ticket. Otherwise I was probably facing a minimum $500 fine-it was for passing unlawfully (emergency vehicle). I tried to get back into the lane I was in when I saw the officer's bike but the cars in the other lane would not let me back over and so I got a ticket. Mr. Purdy had gone to court for me and a few days later I got a card in the mail saying I failed to appear and a warrant would be issued or an officer would be coming to my home or job to bring me to the court house. I even verified on the website that he showed up. We texted him late in the evening and he replied to send him a picture of the card and he would take care of it. Turns out my ticket showed up in 2 different jurisdictions. He proceeded to file a motion to have that case showing on the card dismissed. He went to court got another hearing date set to plead down the ticket and I just found out he got it reduced to a parking ticket and my fine was only $55.00. I can never say thank you to him enough my financial situation is very dire right now and that was a huge burden lifted off my shoulders. I would recommend him to my family and friends if they ever were in the need of defense lawyer. I am and will be forever grateful to him for helping me out and easing my financial stress.
