Excellent in Every Way

Without hesitation, I give Patricia Erickson my highest recommendation as best-in-class of defense attorneys. When you engage Ms. Erickson as your attorney, you will find her to be a caring partner rather than a distant, impersonal lawyer. For us, she not only facilitated a judgement that was most ...favorable, she constantly kept us informed and calmed our concerns during many confusing legal matters. When you need a lawyer, especially in a criminal matter, it is important that you hire not only the most competent, but also one that can relate to you. Ms. Erickson is that lawyer. My experience with her came when my two sons were in a terrible auto accident, one of which did not survive. Although no one besides my sons were injured in the accident, the legal system charged my surviving son with felony DUI with death after he awoke from a month long coma. When I arrived in Las Vegas from Cleveland the day after the accident, I found my surviving son connected to equipment that looked like it came from NASA as well as being shackled to his hospital bed with a Metro police office sitting in a chair, 24 hours a day. Through her good efforts by way of her well-placed contacts, Ms. Erickson was able to facilitate removal of the shackles. Then, she painstakingly worked me through the incredibly complex web of legal matters that lead to my son receiving probation for a matter over which he will be forever scared and sorry beyond belief. Through Ms. Erickson's management of his case, the judge explained directly to my son and I that she understood the pain that we both suffered, that my son clearly did not intend to commit the act and that any sentence that she would impose must give consideration to further punishing our family. I can only imagine what terrible, unfair consequences our legal system could have added to our family’s nightmare had it not been for Ms. Erickson’s representation. Although I hope never to again need Ms. Erickson’s services, she will be my first call if such a situation arises!

Diligent, Professional, Experienced

A few years ago I found myself in need of an attorney to represent my wife on felony charges that were not only ruining our marriage but, more importantly, could easily destroy her career and life goals. I have strict high standards and finding the best Lawyer seemed impossible. Then, I was refe...rred to Patricia Erickson by another prominent attorney from another state. We met, she listened to us and remembered every detail. She had the knowledge and ability to immediately understand and advise us on how our facts could be impacted by the law. In my opinion, only a well seasoned veteran attorney could do what Patricia did on our first meeting. Patricia negotiated a fair plea, set the record straight and didn’t let the law take advantage of us as we had some overzealous cops to deal with. Later, I thought all was lost when required aspects of my wife’s informal probation were not completed. Patricia took action immediately. Her perfect timing on paperwork, filings, documents and control of time sensitive materials saved our life again; she re-negotiated fair terms and lower penalties. A few months ago I got in big trouble with a fast car, was looking at jail time, huge fines and a difficult police officer. Through Patricia’s work, I didn’t go to jail and was able to pay my fine over extended period. Furthermore I never had to appear in court. In my opinion, Patricia is the definition of professional. Patricia Erickson has handled the wife’s and my criminal problems over the years and produced the best that could be had. She has always informed us every step of the way about the law, (knowledge base) and all possible outcomes; she listens to you and takes fear out of the equation. Her results are impressive. I absolutely couldn’t have a better criminal attorney in Las Vegas.
