Jennifer Gastelum is extremely professional. When I came into her office I was under a lot of stress, and Jennifer listened very attentively to everything I had to say. She helped me prepare for a case that we thought might be very lengthy, and with her help we were able to resolve the matter in a s...hort period of time. I have a great deal of respect and trust for her, and would absolutely recommend her to anyone in need of legal services.

I do not recommend Jennifer Setters to anyone who prioritizes the safety and well-being of their child. In my experience, Mrs. Setters demonstrated a troubling lack of ethical judgment and professional integrity during my custody case, where she represented the opposing party. Despite clear documenta...tion, including police reports indicating abuse, Mrs. Setters appeared to disregard serious concerns regarding the welfare of my child. She acknowledged, both to me and my legal counsel, that she had experienced inappropriate behavior from her client, including verbal aggression and lack of communication. However, she continued to represent him in a manner that seemed to overlook the broader implications of his conduct. One particularly distressing action was her decision to submit private, intimate photos of me to the court--photos that were irrelevant to the matter at hand and presented under a questionable legal premise. This action felt retaliatory and inappropriate, and it significantly escalated the emotional and financial burden of the case. My attorney was forced to take immediate legal action to have these images stricken from the record. As a result of this conduct, I have filed a formal complaint with the Nevada State Bar and submitted a grievance related to the misuse of intimate images. I believe Mrs. Setters' actions not only lacked professional discretion but also contributed to an environment of harassment and intimidation. Despite my child being enrolled full-time in CCSD under an IEP and receiving additional therapy services based on the recommendations of licensed professionals, Jennifer repeatedly argued that these services were unnecessary in order to support visitation for the other parent. She routinely accepted statements from the other parent without conducting proper due diligence or requesting supporting evidence. On multiple occasions, she made disparaging remarks about me in court, despite the fact that I have been the sole caregiver and have consistently acted in the best interests of my child. If you are seeking representation that is ethical, compassionate, and respectful of legal boundaries, I strongly encourage you to look elsewhere.
