James J Pisanelli

Mr. Pisanelli is the co-founder of Pisanelli Bice, PLLC, a firm primarily focused on commercial litigation. Prior to forming Pisanelli Bice, Mr. Pisanelli was the co-chair of Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck's litigation group, where he oversaw 80 litigators across the United States and managed his own practice. He specializes in commercial litigation, construction, defamation, and health care law, and has worked on a wide range of cases in these fields. 

Mr. Pisanelli has worked with a variety of commercial clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to single entity developers and entrepreneurs. He continues to represent many of Nevada's largest gaming companies in commercial disputes, as well as one of Nevada's largest newspapers and the local affiliate of a national television broadcast company in defamation actions and related matters. Mr. Pisanelli's construction practice includes litigation and commercial transactions for local, national, and international developers and contractors. 

Although his practice has focused primarily on commercial litigation, Mr. Pisanelli also practices transactional law for his construction clients. He has represented major hotel properties, institutional home builders, commercial developers, design professionals, and subcontractors in the negotiation and preparation of construction contracts and development agreements.

Mr. Pisanelli has tried and prosecuted numerous cases to judgment in state and federal court, as well as in various alternative dispute resolution settings. He also serves as a faculty member for the National Institute for Trial Advocacy and serves on the Advisory Board for a national banking system.
