Gary A. Modafferi

I am really not sure how anyone could ever hire this attorney! Gary Modafferi took my fees (and still wanted more! Even after he "allegedly" breached the contract I had made with him by ENTERING THE WRONG PLEA FOR MY HUSBAND IN COURT, COSTING US JAIL TIME, FEES, & NOW I'M HAVING TO "FIX" THE PROBLEM ...WITH A SEPARATE ATTORNEY! DONT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID!!! DO NOT DO IT! I AM WRITING THIS BECAUSE EVEN WITH WITNESSES TO THE DIRECTION I GAVE GARY MODAFFERI, TO PLEAD NOT GUILTY FOR MY HUSBAND, HE ***STILL*** PLED MY HUSBAND NO LO CONTENDRE (WHICH MAY AS WELL BE GUILTY WE FOUND)!!! THE KICKER IS MY HUSBAND HAD A "SPECIAL NEED" SO HE COULDN'T TELL WHAT GARY HAD PLED FOR HIM IN COURT.... SO WE WERE TOLD THE "CHARGES WERE DISMISSED".... GUESS WHAT?? THEY WEREN'T!!!! I DONT WANT THIS ****"ALLEGED" DISHONESTY***** TO AFFECT ANYONE ELSE ADVERSELY!!! SO HEED MY WARNING OR YOU COULD BE IN MY POSITION! (I didn't even want to enter 1 star but this system forced me too!!!)

I had an opportunity to meet and hire Gary when I was arrested and was in a heavy panic mode due to serious theft and forgery charges in Las Vegas. I am a Canadian citizen. As I was not from the States and have never been arrested in my life, I did not know what to do at all. Gary came forward to me ...and fully devoted his time in fighting the case and had the most optimal solution out of the case and protected me from potentially going to jail for a long time. Long story short, while I was stranded in the states for a several months fighting for the case Gary's sister (Joy) provided me with the place to stay and offered anything else that I am in need of. I am truly very grateful for his service and his family's gratitude and until these days I stay in close touch with him and his family. To Gary his main focus I believe is not about the retainer or how much money he can bring in exchange for his service but genuinely build that close and trust worthy relationship with his clients and most importantly to protect from his clients from getting in further trouble. Gary unbelievably is a strongly kind and hearted person. I wish for all those who are in trouble to go forward and use his expertise to get themselves out of trouble. We need more lawyers like Gary around the world! Period.

Gary has been my attorney for a decade. Anything I have trouble with he will give great advice or refer me to someone that knows if he doesn’t.
