Ben helped expose a fraudulent property manager

I was referred to Ben and am thankful that I was. I travel frequently and was having suspicion regarding a property manager hired to take care of my home while I was away. Ben discovered that the business license of this party had been revoked and was able to get my situation straightened out. He ...is the type of professional I would refer people to with confidence.

Contract Review

Ben reviewed multiple contracts, as well as other binding contracts to make sure it was what I understood them to be prior to signing. To make sure there was nothing unexpected or out of the agreement terms that were negotiated.

Ben helped me a great deal

Ben and his assistant were friendly and very thorough in helping me deal with a traffic fine.. I am new to the area and was very lost when it came to dealing with traffic citations in nevada. Ben and his assistant were very knowledgeable and made it all very easy.

not trustworthy. not respopnsive.. absolutely did NOT keep me informed

Benjamin Miller did nothing ot help my case, in fact he sided with my ex. Who paid you $2500 Ben. I did. He didnt inform me of a court date. He didnt inform me of revisions on my court order. In court he cowarded down, got quiet and didnt speak up about anything like he said he would in previous meet...ings. My drug addict of an ex has my daughter 3 days a week now, and there's nothing I can do about it. Now he is charging me over $3000. For what.. taking my baby away from me.. I do NOT recommend Ben Miller for any one. Unless you want to lose your court case and be charged for things you weren't even told about. Thanks for nothing Ben.

This is always the difficulty with conducting family law cases. Not every client is going to accept the facts and circumstances of his or her case. Simply there are no guarantees in family law, and the potential outcomes were dicussed with this client throughout this case. More so, this person signed a parenting agreement of her own accord, thus resolving the case. Frustration in family court is always understandable, but targeting it upon me after the case already resolved, and there is an outstanding invoice for services rendered is unreasonable. My office always offers payment arrangements, yet this person wanted approximately 5 years to pay off her invoice. Clearly, a business cannot run on such an arrangement.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
