Replied last November 20, 2009This is always the difficulty with conducting family law cases. Not every client is going to accept the facts and circumstances of his or her case. Simply there are no guarantees in family law, and the potential outcomes were dicussed with this client throughout this case. More so, this person signed a parenting agreement of her own accord, thus resolving the case. Frustration in family court is always understandable, but targeting it upon me after the case already resolved, and there is an outstanding invoice for services rendered is unreasonable. My office always offers payment arrangements, yet this person wanted approximately 5 years to pay off her invoice. Clearly, a business cannot run on such an arrangement.
