Biography
I am a trial attorney with extensive experience in taking cases from the initial pleading stage, through discovery and trial. I have been in front of 15 juries---for 12 of those cases I was the lead attorney. That experience has made me very effective and efficient in recognizing risks for litigation in many areas of the law. I understand which discovery and trial preparation activities are a good investment of time and resources and I recognize the appropriate time to discuss settlement. I have taken many personal injury defense matters to trial for companies such as AIG and Farmers and ranging from breach of contract to professional liability and many things in between.
I truly love being in the courtroom, but I also provide valuable risk assessment services related to the burgeoning medical marijuana industry. Employers face new challenges in accomodation and medical marijuana establishments are learning how the product they sell can impact other industries, patients and even those who do not inentionally use the product. It is a great time to be a lawyer in Southern Nevada!
