Craig A Marquiz

Craig Marquiz, Esq. of the Marquiz Law Office, P.C. is an AV Preeminent-rated attorney with over 21 years’ experience in complex business, construction, insurance/bad faith and coverage litigation matters. 

Craig received his law degree from the University of Arizona (94), an MBA from Arizona State University (89), and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Nevada Las Vegas (86). 

In addition to an active trial practice, Craig serves as general counsel for over 50 companies in Nevada and Arizona, advising them on a wide-range of business and legal matters. 

Since 2005, Craig has served as general counsel for the Nevada Subcontractor’s Association (NSA), a trade association designed to protect and advance the rights of subcontractors in Nevada, and throughout that time has been the voice of the Nevada construction industry before the Nevada legislature.  Craig was one of the architects of Assembly Bill (AB) 125 (also known as the Homeowners Protection Act of 2015), and is actively involved with identifying additional constructional defect reforms to further improve the Chapter 40 process, enhance insurance coverages and reduce/ eliminate insurance coverage disputes.
