An attorney since 1985, I have skillfully litigated jury and bench trials. I was inducted into the Million Dollar Advocates Forum after receiving a jury verdict of $3,100,000 with an actual recovery of $3,250,000 for my client. This five year contentious case involved 112 swimming pools that cracked as a result of defective materials supplied to my client by one of its subcontractors. I emphasize to my clients and in the various seminars I conduct that a business owner’s money is better spent by averting a lawsuit than fighting one. In my lectures and articles, I discuss strategies that can be effectively employed to avoid a lawsuit, among other topics.

While I practice law in the areas of commercial litigation, corporate law, employment law, family law, and real property law, my primary emphasis is in construction law. I have vast experience in representing my construction clients in all construction matters, on public and private projects, whether in the negotiation and drafting of effective construction documents, or in representing developers, architects, engineers, contractors, subcontractors and/or suppliers in all stages of construction-related litigation matters.

When I am not at the office, I can usually be found at the gym or spending time with my family. I enjoy traveling with my wife, Hali, and our two children, Elana and Michael. Our most recent adventures have been via car so we can include our newly-rescued dog, Tuxedo.
