BJ has been my attorney throughout a year + long criminal case in which I was being charged with numerous felonies along with a conspiracy charge. He is now working to get my sentence deferred so that I can get my rights back upon successful completion of probation. If that pans out I will be ecstatic! I will be sentenced here in the next 6 weeks. My plea leaves it to the judge's discretion at sentencing. She could throw the book at me sending me to prison for 6-7yrs or take the DA's recommendation for probation. All of this was explained to me by BJ in detail prior to submitting my plea.
