Eric Dixon has practiced law in New Mexico for over thirty years. He has been involved in his community as Roosevelt County Chamber of Commerce President; President of the Portales Rotary Club (Paul Harris Fellow); Chair-person of the Zoning and Planning Commission; Benefactor of the Roosevelt County Special Hospital District. In addition, he has been involved in improving the legal profession as a volunteer on various Bar Association and Supreme Court Committees. He has tried numerous civil and criminal cases in Federal and State Court. He has handled numerous appeals in the State appellate courts including appearances in the New Mexico Supreme Court and the New Mexico Court of Appeals along with the Federal 10th Circuit Court of Appeals in Denver, Colorado. He is licensed in New Mexico, Texas and Colorado. He has been an instructor of business law, and real estate law at ENMU; and an instructor of various law related courses at the NMJC; Embry Riddle University and Chapman University. He has been widely quoted in the media on a number of legal issues throughout the Country on numerous occassions. Mr. Dixon practice concentrates of civil and criminal jury trials including personal injury involving motor vehicles, trucks, and motorcyles; employment discrimination; civil rights disputes. He has tried cases to verdict in N.M. federal court; and state courts in New Mexico.
