Review on L. John Russo

I recently retained the services of L. John Russo to represent me regarding my naturalization case. He has a small office on the West Side of Albuquerque. He delivered a good old-fashioned friendly service. He does his own work so I did not have to work with a legal assistant, secretary, or a re...ceptionist. The work was done in a prompt and timely manner. He has decades of relevant practical work experience; he's honest, knowledgeable and his fee was very reasonable. John Russo listened to me, solved any concerns I had and did meticulous work. My interview at USCIS went really well and I am an American citizen today. The whole process, from the first time I met with Mr Russo to the day of my "oathing ceremony", took a mere three and a half months. I would highly and without hesitation recommend Mr Russo to my family and friends.

"I endorse John Russo as an experienced Immigration attorney. John was an immigration officer before he began his law career and understands the practice of immigration law from both the government's and the client's viewpoints. He researches issues carefully and is ready to fight for his clients. I heartily recommend John Russo for your immigration case in New Mexico."

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
