Donald L. Jones

Donald L. Jones (Don) is the owner, managing member and senior attorney of Donald L. Jones Attorney, LLC.  Don graduated from the University of New Mexico School of Law in 1969 and has lived in Albuquerque and been in the private practice of law in New Mexico for over 50 years. Don received an AV rating in Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory early in his career and has been listed in the Best Lawyers in America in the area of Real Estate Law.  Don practices primarily in the areas of business, real estate, estate planning and probate law.  Don is dedicated to his community as well as to his law practice.  He has served as a Director and as Vice Chairman for Governmental Affairs Division of the Greater Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce, as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Senior Lawyers Division of the State Bar of New Mexico, as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Albuquerque Youth Symphony (AYS) Program, and as Chairman of a citizen task force appointed by the Mayor and the City Council of Albuquerque to review and recommend amendments of the Albuquerque City Charter. In his spare time, Don enjoys playing golf, hiking in the mountains, and traveling and spending time with his wife, Merri Jean Jones, the owner of Studio J Interiors, Inc. a residential and commercial interior design firm, and visiting his children and grandchildren who live in Chicago, Illinois and Olympia, Washington.
