Not recommended

During consultation interview they knew what country they would be dealing with. If they weren’t familiar about this country I believe they should have disclosed that to me. Attorney at this firm kept stating the country they were dealing with was not a country they were familiar with. Attorney di...dn’t even know what to do since packet was lost when case was going to Embassey nor did they seem to know what number to call. Attorney stated via phone they will get back with me when appeal was sent, havn't heard from this office since. Each time I call I just get excuses from this firm. NOT!!! satisfied at all. I would not recommend to anyone.

I am truly sorry to see this comment, and I understand and share this person’s frustration. All immigration office & U.S. embassy must follow the same published federal rules and procedures which require that the visa applicant prove eligibility by presenting the required federal forms, documents & testimony under oath at interviews. Unfortunately, agency backlogs and delays, inaccessibility, and cumbersome procedures are beyond an attorney’s control and often lead to frustration. My staff and I are extremely dedicated and work very hard on all of our cases; our goal is to achieve favorable results in accordance with federal laws. When a case is denied the appeal process is never fast, but must be followed. In rare cases the only options are to sue immigration and ask a federal judge to determine whether the federal government was wrong, or to lobby Congress to change the legal barriers confronted.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
