My two children and I, had successfully escaped an abusive situation when we rented a home from what I thought was a reputable landlord. We had hoped to live in that home for a long time but sadly, that wasn’t the case. The landlord disappeared. All of my calls, for over 6 months had gone unanswered ...and I had a bathroom that had sewage pouring out of the bathtub drain. The “owner” finally contacted me to fix the problem but instead left an 8 foot deep hole in the floor of that bathroom for an additional 2 months. He then gave me a 30 day notice stating that the house was uninhabitable and would be condemned. I contacted Mr. Woods who helped us not only understand my rights as a tenant, but helped us find a safe place to move to. He was able to get the “owner” to agree to pay for the move but also for pain and suffering. I had never felt more protected at that time. I HIGHLY recommend Mr. Woods and his services. His knowledge, compassion and drive for the truth is unmatched. My children and I are in a much better place because of him. Thank you, Mr. Woods for your kindness and understanding.
