patience and wisdom

It was a difficult process due to the stunning intransigence of opposing counsel but Deacon's wise advice, persistence and patience got me through it. Communication was excellent.

Divorce settlement

Dorene handled my legal needs with expertise. A case complicated involving two states with different laws, she found resources in both states to reach a settlement. A good listener, patient, and respectful of my wishes. Also a good negotiator/communicator with others in the legal profession.

True advocates

I retained the Law Office of Doreen Kuffer for a case involving the state child welfare department. Through a long and complicated case, Doreen and James maintained excellent contact, managed my case well, and were honest with me even when things got difficult. Their ethics are impeccable, and I alwa...ys felt they had my best interests in mind, regarding both my goal in the case, and my finances. I highly recommend this firm.

It is always rewarding to hear that a client appreciated our efforts. Family law cases of any kind can be frustrating and emotional for the client and their family members. Our aim in each case is to solve the legal problem as quickly and affordably as possible, while never losing sight of the client’s goal. It was an honor to help you.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
