Born in Chicago, I first came to New Mexico as a young boy as a family trip. In 2011, I returned to New Mexico as a judicial extern for Chief Judge Starzynski of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Mexico, fell in love with bankruptcy law, and fell in love with New Mexico all over again. Since then, my family has relocated to New Mexico as well, and I have settled down here. Professionally, my work primarily focuses on commercial bankruptcy law and creditor's rights. My typical clients are regional banks and small businesses. I have served as Chair of the State Bar of New Mexico Bankruptcy Law Section, Co-Chair of the American Bankruptcy Institute's Young & New Members Committee, and recently founded the New Mexico chapter of Credit Abuse Resistance Education (CARE), a national non-profit dedicated to educating young adults about how to manage their finances.
