Jeffrey A James

I hired Jeff James, paying him a lot of money for a retainer. Then I paid this man more money weekly. Jeff James had my case for almost a year. The only thing that Jeff James did , was request extension after extension. Jeff James did not show up in court for a pre-trial hearing! He forgot about it.... When he arrived in court later that day, he asked for another extension! Jeff James did not keep in touch to update me on the case. I had to hound him for answers, and he would dance around , not answering the questions. Jeff James did not make me aware that he was suspended 45 days during the time he was retained as my attorney & he was on probation for a year also! I fired Jeff James for his incompetency. Weeks after doing so, Jeff James approached me at the courthouse and was aggressive and completely inappropriate. Beware of this attorney, he has some major issues. He took my money, and did not provide any defense what so ever!
