In 2015, my business experienced a major deal with big upside and some risk go south. I had no relationships in the financial world because the business cash was organically generated. Business was profitable every quarter for 8 years prior to the start of this. I owned 100% of the business at the... time, but had started the process of transferring ownership to the team of 20+. Lisa also created an atmoshpere that allowed me to feel comfortable in expressing worries, fears and concerns. Lisa and her team also communicated with creditors, attorneys and the courts - a place I felt very weak and uncomfortable with at the time. The only misalignment in the whole process was the rate. The experience was worth a LOT more than I was billed. I also recommend that anyone in rough times with their business or personal finances NOT wait until it is bankruptcy time.
