It depends. If you admitted that you were acting on behalf of the marital community then the request for default may be granted.

Not necessarily. All files are reviewed for suit worthiness prior to filing and your refusal is not a factor in that determination.

You can not cram down the debt on your residence so the bank gets paid or they are permitted to repossess via forclosing your right to redeem.

Insist that they verify the debt in writing then you will have a letter from them. From there an internet search should prove to be valuable.
