You can file and probably qualify for chapter 7 in which case all of youth unsecured debt will be discharged.

You can file and she remains liable for payment. So long as she pays then her credit is unaffected.

My husband has about 30 thou in credit card bills. I am not a user on these cards, have never used them.

He can but you are liable and given the aggressiveness i have seen in Arizona in the area of debt collection I suspect you will be pursued by these...

Your social security is not attachable so it is safe. If your assets are limited then you are probably judgement proof.
