You need a lawyer because you don't understand the proceedings enough to ask a clear question.

I was told I owe from a loan in 2006 from a loan company . The loan was for about $300.

If you walk away from the property the discharge protects you from any potential liability.

You are in a difficult position. I don't think bank of America will negotiate. If you lose the house bankruptcy will protect you.

No. The measuring points are date of filing to date of filing. You may have other options . You need an attorney.

The emails are the contract and the down payment ratified the agreement. File a breach of contract lawsuit. You need a lawyer.
