I filed bankruptcy 60 days ago. I had a creditor to respond back to civil court and not bankruptcy court. Does this matter?

They have to file a motion to lift the stay before they can proceed with the lawsuit. Sometimes debts due to injuries that result for DUI accidents...

The measuring dates are date of filing to date of filing. Are you still inside the eight years? If so I don't see how you will awarded a discharge...
