The money could end up back in your hands if the steps were taken to have it turned over to the trustee and then the trustee decided it is not...

You can deed it to a revocable trust then you are no longer the owner. This is not a perfect solution but it ay accomplish the goal of relieving...

It is very difficult to discharge student loans. In general if you are employable in anyway or can afford even the smallest payment to this credit...

The safe path is to personally serve the defendant. If the attorney agreed then he could accept service on behalf of his client but that does not...

Bankruptcy is not appropriate for $1800 of debt. If you have more debt than that then maybe it is a good idea for you. Make a deal to pay the debt...
