Best Family Law Attorney Ever

I'm a pediatrician who had a high conflict divorce with another pediatrician, and a prolonged battle for years afterwards over sharing the children. In the course of this unfortunate conflict, I worked with a handful of lawyers, initially in New Mexico where I was divorced, and then later in Arizon...a where I shared custody of my children. I spend thousands of dollars and many hours with lawyers before I found Lisa, so I feel like I have the bad luck to have to have some real experience evaluating family law lawyers and can contrast and compare. Lisa is an outstanding lawyer. I appreciated her from the beginning, because as a pediatrician, I understood immediately that I was dealing with an ethical lawyer who cared about the children in my conflict. She did not try to escalate conflict, she repeatedly tried to guide me towards ways to protect my children and allow them access to both their parents, even when it was difficult for me to have the most basic civilized communication with my ex wife. While being an ethical human being is valuable in anyone, a lawyer needs to be an effective advocate, and Lisa is extraordinarily effective. She knows Tucson, she knows the judges, she knows the legal community, she knows the law, and she knows how to make things happen. Sometimes I didn't understand how effective her guidance was until after the fact. She recommended an outstanding divorce coach for me and my ex-wife, and this could have led to my ex-wife and I reaching compromises outside the court (and could have saved us a lot of money in legal fees). Unfortunately, my ex-wife was eventually unwilling to continue working with this divorce coach, and fired her. However, because I had been willing to compromise and come to the table, this highly regarded divorce coach became my star witness. Nobody wins in high conflict divorces. and while my case eventually settled on terms that I'm sure made me and my children much happier than it made my ex wife, I'm saddened by the entire useless experience. But Lisa gave me some faith in humanity by continuing to try to forge useful compromises that protect the children. I was also often surprised given how expensive lawyers are and how much time she devoted to my case, how little she actually charged compared to what some other opportunistic lawyers might have. My ex wife's lawyer, for example, seemed to go out of his way to create maximum billable hours, doing things like having both himself and a partner lawyer come to a simple hearing, so that both of them could bill for an hour meeting that ended up with an agreement that could have been written on a post-it note. I wish I could have felt some pleasure seeing my ex-wife's lawyers rip her off, but it just me sad and made me realize how lucky I was. Gallows humor is how I survive, and I've thought about writing a book called "the Pediatricians guide to how to royally screw up your children: a memoir." If I ever do, Lisa McNorton will inspire a chapter on the value to a brilliant, ethical effective advocate. Bring your case to Lisa, you'll be glad you did.

Best lawyer in Tucson

I was referred to Lisa by a coworker who had been a previous client of Lisa's. Lisa is very professional, personable and compassionate. Lisa has represented me in several issues surrounding my divorce with a young child. She connected with me as her client, building a trust to provide me with support... and guidance. Lisa is very cost conscientious, and really works to keeps cost affordable for her clients. She always takes time to explain legal matters to me to help me make the best decision, and responds quickly to my emails or calls. Lisa goes above and beyond for her clients. I don't know how I could ever thank her enough, and I highly recommend her as a lawyer.
