Eric A Thomson

I was involved in a car crash where a guy with a 20ft trailer passed me on the shoulder of the one lane on-ramp shortly before entering the freeway. I was represented by an attorney who dropped the case when I was unwilling to accept a ridiculous settlement offer from the insurance company (Allstat...e). I called all of those injury / accident law offices which advertise constantly on the radio and billboards, the answer was always the same „Sorry, if it’s already in litigation, we are unable to take the case“ When I was about to give up and represent myself, I stumbled upon Eric’s phone number and I was surprised that I was able to talk to him directly, not through some „intake secretary“. He immediately told me that he would be happy to represent me but that he had an appointment on the day of the hearing which was scheduled a few days later. He called the court and was able to get another continuance, (the hearing had already been rescheduled several times). The end of the story: We won the case. Eric was extremely well prepared and I was impressed how he presented the case. I don’t think that any attorney could have done a better job. The other party was represented by a mean former prosecutor who tried to blame me for the crash. I am not sure what the outcome would have been without Eric.

I was in the middle of a personal injury case that started heading south in late 2007. Mr Thomson guided me through the process necessary to substitute him as my counsel. His representation through a trial setting resulted in a defense counsel, representing my opponent, offering five times the settle...ment amount that was offered through prior counsel. He explained to me later that not all attorneys accept pi clients with his commitment to follow it through a trial setting. In my experience, his professionalism and courtesy toward me as with others involved was beyond exceptional. As client, my views were in part unrealistic and perhaps naive or ignorant are accurate descriptors. Anyway, he remained cool headed right down to the wire and set aside time for me along the way and afterwards to make sure I felt in the know. I think that you will agree his people skills and professional candor make him second to none. I mean that he won't waste your time and you will find his manner extraordinary.
