Ryan A Huffman

My son and I were referred to Nesci & St Louis when my son was in need of legal council. We met Ryan Huffman and retained him for my son's legal defense. He reviewed all of the information that the prosecution had, and had a very thorough conversation with us about what my son was looking at in terms... of options, what the possible outcomes were, and what his defense would be if we retained him. The court dates dragged out for quite a while due to being in the midst of COVID, but Ryan was always communicative of what was going on, what each court date was for, and where we were at in the process. At the end of the whole process, he was able to show that the prosecution's case was based off of information that was provided as a result of promised outcomes by the officer. This allowed him to fight for and ultimately obtain a much reduced charge for my son. I don’t even know where to begin. But to start I was pulled over and arrested for a DUI in the slightest degree. Even though it was a very minor charge it still would have effected in a very bad way as I drive for work. I was charged before COVID which gave a new list of difficulties I’m sure on his ...end. But let me tell you why this law firm is worth the money. One- after I was charged I was aloud to drive the entire time until trial which was a major relief Two- essentially once you get a lawyer from this firm especially Ryan you can almost forget about the charge and know that the moment there is an update they will reach out to you. Otherwise you can set it and forget it. That really helped getting my Mind off of things. Three- honestly I don’t have enough space to write out everything that they did to get me a not guilty charge. But the cliff notes are they were quick, to the point, and efficient. Just one thing to keep in mind is if you go to trial and you require expert witnesses you will need to pay more money based on the expert witness a month before trial. After going through what seemed to be the darkest, most difficult time I have ever been through in my life, there are not enough words to describe the way I feel about Ryan Huffman and the entire Nesci & St. Louis firm. Nearly a year ago, I was charged with three misdemeanors—a DUI, an extreme DUI..., and an excessive speeding charge. I felt like my life was over. You always hope you'll never need an attorney, but when your life hits rock bottom and just keeps piling on, you need someone who is truly in your corner. I won't go into the details of my case, but suffice to say I was climbing up from the lowest point in my life after having been arrested and almo...st losing my job, managing to salvage said job and slowly coming back from the brink, only to be knocked down again when COVID restrictions lifted and my pandemic-delayed case was making its way through the system when I found out I would be facing (additional) jail time as a portion of the punishment the city attorney was seeking.
