Horrible Experience

I hired Nancy to handle litigation matters in a divorce case. She was horrible with communication, procrastinated with on going issues in my divorce matters, and even threatened me on separate occasions to with drawl from my case. She gave me a timeline, to meet certain obligations concerning ...the case, and I met those deadlines, but she came up with excuses and n why she could not go forward with my case. She has very little knowledge on property separation; could not tell the difference between “refinance or assumption of loan”. As a veteran my decree stated that my ex would “refinance” but she wanted to agree with opposing attorney to allow them to “assume my VA loan”. Her ability to communicate was strictly e-mail, and even while paying a retainer and keeping a rolling positive balance, she refused to take phone conversations with me, making me feel that my case was not a priority to her. I would never recommend her and in my opinion, she is just another person chasing a pay check. Ultimately she withdrew from my case leading to me loosing thousands in assets!

I'm sorry to hear you felt there were too few phone calls. Please also let me know if you'd like me to re-send you the Feb, 2024 communications about the assumption / refinance and / or communications about moving forward as you requested and / or information about the check I sent you last year. It sounds like I could help clear up these issues for you by simply re-sending some items to you if you'd like. Hope you are well.

Very Satisfied

Got a no-fault divorce done through Nancy in spring of 2017. My wife and I were not speaking to one another at the time, so Nancy acted as my intermediary in communications. Nancy collected my personal information in an initial consultation, making absolutely certain that I understood my options a...nd legal obligations. We clarified my wishes quickly, Nancy gave me a briefing on how expenses would work, and a final estimate that was very close to what I ended up paying. Nancy invited me to the courthouse for initial filing two days later, again answering questions and explaining possible courses of action. Once my wife was served (which, through no fault of Nancy's, took a few weeks for Cochise County to get around to), Nancy and her staff made my wife comfortable enough to come in on her own time and finalize the paperwork. I didn't want a shark for my divorce, I wanted a talented, reasonable human being. I got that in Nancy.
