I hired this attorney to represent my wife in a deportation hearing and it was the WORST mistake of my life. His staff and Kanu's demeanor after you hire him is less than professional. Can't get a hold of him and no one in the office is willing to help you they have the "Your bothering me" attitude. ...The attorney left my wife's case to go vacation in Africa rather than fighting for my wife. After being paid in full he threaten multiple times to DROP her case stating I was too demanding simply because I ASKED QUESTIONS., He does not reply to emails, nor phone calls and lastly can't get copies of ANYTHING! - A month before her trial my wife begged me to find a new attorney and it was the best decision My wife is freed! and a legal resident - No thanks to KANU

I hired this attorney to represent my wife in a deportation hearing and it was the WORST and most costly mistake of my life I paid him $7,500 + an additional $2,000 for a waiver. Once you hand him your money his staff and Kanu's demeanor change, You are no longer that customer he wants to genuine...ly help but rather a bother to him and his staff, GOD FORBID you should call his office twice in a week because in doing so you risk Kanu threatening to drop your case stating "your too demanding" Getting a hold of your $7,500 attorney to ask a question either via email or phone is NOT part of your payment. in his own words..."He decides when he calls you, NOT when you want him to call you... As if things couldn't get any worst 2 months before my wife's immigration trial, Kanu left to go vacation in Africa with his family for nearly a month Lastly you are not allowed to get copies of ANYTHING when you ask for it, I asked many times via emails, and phone calls for nearly a month and never got anything, Only after I fired him and retained a new attorney was I able to get the files and its a good thing I did because there were a ton of errors that had they been submitted my wife's case would've been continued because of the lack of completeness. Today my wife is finally free, reunited with our family and is a legal resident of USA - No thanks to KANU... Save your money - Don't make the same costly mistake I did
