OUTCOME: After a protracted trial, and despite the fact the the "Custody forensic report" was in favor of the father, I nonetheless secured residential custody of the parties' child for our client, the mother.
I represented the mother in a custody dispute. The parties each sought residential custody.
OUTCOME: The trial court granted all "relief" sought by our client and she received 50% of the marital estate (together with an award of legal fees) notwithstanding that her husband sought a large separate property credit.
The Husband was seeking a large "separate property credit" prior to the distribution of the marital estate. The case went to trial.
OUTCOME: The trial court rendered a decision which gave my client, the mother, sole custody and sole decision making, and limited the father to supervised visitation. The trial court also awarded a disproportionate share of the marital estate to my client.
This case involved extensive litigation regarding Equitable Distribution as well as extremely acrimonious custody litigation. The matter proceeded to trial.
