A CLASS ACT

I'm so excited to be the very first to post a review for James Page! I've never done a review like this before & am going to adhere to the Review Guidelines as much as possible. Thank u AVVO for the opportunity to share my incredible experience BE SPECIFIC: (Here go's) James, (or Jimmy) as his d...own to earth nature leans him to go by was very specific w/ what he explained to us from the get go. There was never a misunderstanding as to his expressed capabilities & his determined intent to quickly & professionally resolve our case to our favor. The patience with which he explained how his experience & expertise could guide us painlessly through our process, was nonpareil. He shared detailed stories of his past & his life (he's a great story teller too), as we spent hours together in our living room w/ coffee being assured we'd never (ever) need to come to his office. Specifically, I'd like to say that Jimmy Page set the foundation (& the stage) for a lifelong client/attorney relationship. He was a friend & a comfort too. I can also specifically say that if you're looking for an attorney who is both self aware and willing to tell you MUCH about his experience with the law, you've found your man. Some attorneys just spring into action towards resolve, but JP will definitely take his time (and yours) to let you know exactly where your case stands. In our case, we were thrilled to learn that it a was an (not to be too Specific), (QUOTE) - "Ace In The Hole". ....BUT NOT TOO SPECIFIC: In sticking to this guideline, I will leave out numerous specific dates that James had to file, re-file, and refile again, our case with the court because ("and only because") of the court & judicial system's incompetence in being SPECIFIC on THEIR part as to what they they wanted from him in writing. He pursued with a relaxed stride, the incompetent juditial system that lay before him and we can't tell you how bad we felt that he had to go back so many times because of what they said were errors on his part, including but not limited to: grammar, spelling, misplaced content, & finally, accidentally filing the wrong complaint. My husband regrets to this day not trying harder to convince JP on the steps of the courthouse that he was about to file the wrong complaint yet again. We didn't want to tell him how to do his job though. So we regretted yet again, Jimmy had to receive the bad news of it being incorrectly filed. BE HELPFUL, NOT SPITEFUL: That JP had to undergo so much stress with all of the misfilings may be the reason that he temporarily needed a break. We worried for weeks & weeks about his stress level w/out any returned communication. We KNEW we were being charged for him having to READ our emails... so thought maybe he was just trying to save us money(?) by not responding(?) Still, as thoughtful as that was, we longed to hear that the stress of the case hadn't ruined anything between us. Imagine how relieved we were to finally receive a call from him on the VERY DAY our case was to be dismissed from the court due to non-activity. My husband can still remember where he was when jimmy's long awaited call finally came in. He remembers hearing Jimmy's voice, with complete clarity across the line saying, "I need that paperwork by Monday! It will cost (you) $45 to send it certified! I'm never at my office so address it to my assistant!" Thanks to Jimmy's helpful instructions, my husband was able to act on his own behalf immediately & only regrets to this day that Jimmy said he never recieved it regardless to the delivery services proven signature. LASTLY, STICK TO THE FACTS: The facts of this review are as follows: James Page provide incompetent, unprofessional, doomed & damned service. The single good thing from which came, being that of the next more competent attorney we had to hire. We lost our retainer, but in the end no thanks to JP, won our case w/ a new attorney. He was indeed 'A CLASS ACT'. & THAT'S IT.
