Unhinged

This woman is absolutely unhinged. She claims outlandish things in her court filings that are not even remotely true. She took photos of family members of the other side in court without consent. She also approached the husband of the mother and tried to get him to talk to her telling him he didn’t n...eed to wait for his wife’s lawyer and that he could think for himself. On top of everything else, she has represented people that she has had clear conflicts of interest with. Looking up information on the people who work in her office is also a wise idea, as she has made questionable choices there as well. Save yourself the drama and hire someone else.

Intelligent and compassionate

I love Amanda! She represented me in a custody case in 2018 and again in a modification of parenting time and petition to enforce that was concluded this year in 2023. Both times, the cases were drawn out over a year. They were high conflict, complicated, and emotionally draining. Amanda made me feel... comfortable in my case even though I don’t have a great history. She has always gone above and beyond for me. Amanda is a very talented lawyer and she definitely knows her stuff. She is quick-witted, intelligent, and has a great sense of humor. She is a pleasure to watch in court as she artfully performs her job. I would not have been able to get through any of these cases without her. Her staff is also exceptional, pleasant to work with, and communicated with me through every step.

CUSTODY CASE

Amanda Taylor is such a rooted calm spirit. Throughout the entirety of my case she has reminded me to stay grounded and did her best to let me know I was in great hands. Amanda has done everything that she said she would do for my case and defended my daughter; as if she were her own. Things got scar...y and sticky for a little while but after our first physical court appearance it was very apparent that Amanda knows what she is doing and has the best ways to get her point across in any court of law. She has been a little hard to get a hold of from time to time. She is a very busy woman, but if that is my only complaint I think we did more than alright. Thank you Amanda for helping me fight for my daughter, in ways that I cannot.

Horrible Service

Hired her for my Divorce filling and she dropped my case because her staff lost my paperwork. Wasted my money with her. Would not recommend her

My experience through time

It will be two years since my initial guardianship experience with The Law Amanda Taylor. Although time has passed, it brings me great pleasure to write this follow up review, as Amanda’s office has not seized to keep in touch with our family through this entire time. We live out of state and Amanda ...has been helping us despite the difference in time and distance. When we call her office, we are greeted as old friends rather than nuisance past clients. Amanda has even taken the time to guide our family via phone conferences when we’ve met with our present lawyer in order to keep us up to par in both states. She has also helped us take care of annual reports with the Az court and even expedited services for us. What could have become a messy, tedious process as we deal with two jurisdictions, has instead gone smoothly thanks to Amanda and her hard working staff. Although our battle continues elsewhere, it brings my family peace of mind in knowing that we have trustworthy and loyal representation in our state of origin thanks to Amanda. Our family couldn’t be in better hands.

Family lawyer | Feb 25

Relationship: Worked together on matter

"I endorse Amanda Taylor without hesitation. Recently, a client's case took us from Washington to Yuma. As I am unlicensed outside of Washington, I needed local counsel who was willing to help on an urgent matter related to a parental kidnapping. Almost nobody I called in Yuma was willing to even return my calls or emails, let alone work on the case. Although my client did not have much money, and the urgent nature of the case required late night and weekend work, Amanda took it on and got us the result we had hoped for. She struck me as a competent, ethical attorney with integrity, who really cared more about the outcome of the case than the money she might earn - a rare gem in the often unscrupulous field of family law. I would happily work with her again and recommend friends and family to her."

Admonition issued in AZ, 2013

updated on 01/29/2024

An admonition means an attorney did something wrong but may still practice law. The Bar gives the lawyer an admonition in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.

Amanda’s comment:

“This episode was a minor infraction. In which I wrote Child Protective Service an angry letter because they failed to protect children in our location. The supervisor filed a bar complaint because of the letter and the fact that I said they were harassing my client and not doing their job.”
