Biography
Ms. Smith as a prosecutor for a period of eight years, thus has many years of aggressive trial experience. In 1998 Ms. Smith was selected by the Governor of Arizona to serve as his Director for the Governor's Office of Children. In this capacity, served as an interagency coordinator for all children, youth and family programs within the state; acted as a liaison between state government and community and neighborhood organizations serving children. Ms. Smith assisted the Governor's staff in evaluating and improving the effectiveness of state agencies and systems dealing with children and families. Ms. Smith served on the Governor. Juvenile Justice Reformation Commission, Interagency Coordinating Council For Infants Toddlers, Juvenile Justice Advisory Council, Arizona Safe Kids Coalition, Greater Phoenix Child Abuse Prevention Council and Arizona Juvenile Justice Commission as the Executive Director. Ms. Smith also served on the Joint Legislative Committee on School Safety, Court Improvement Project and Child Welfare Ad Hoc Committee.

Rockstar
