Turner Law Firm

I am writing this review to share my firsthand experience as the opposing party in a family law custody case, so other parents can make an informed decision. This matter extended for a prolonged period due to repeated litigation and escalation rather than resolution. In my experience, the approach... taken was highly aggressive and increased conflict between the parents instead of focusing on practical solutions or minimizing harm to the child. As a result, I went an extended period with severely restricted parenting time. Temporary orders and procedural delays contributed to supervised visitation that continued far longer than necessary. This occurred during the COVID period, which further compounded delays and extended separation from my child. The financial impact was extreme. I personally spent over one hundred twenty thousand dollars in legal fees. That amount does not include the substantial legal fees incurred by the opposing party. Although I was ultimately awarded attorney fees, the court ordered only a small percentage to be paid due to the opposing party’s employment situation. As a practical matter, this did not meaningfully offset the financial damage caused by the prolonged litigation. Despite the length, cost, and hostility of the proceedings, I ultimately prevailed. I was awarded joint legal decision-making, equal parenting time, and make-up parenting time. Looking back, the final outcome demonstrated that the level of conflict, duration, and financial burden were not necessary to reach a fair and balanced resolution. Based on my experience, I strongly encourage parents involved in custody matters to thoroughly research any attorney they are considering. It is critical to understand whether an attorney prioritizes de-escalation, efficiency, transparency, and child-focused outcomes, as prolonged and aggressive litigation can have lasting emotional and financial consequences for families — especially for children.

Malpractice divorce proceedings

I don't want to put the entirety of the review here because I believe this will get played out in a court of law. I never threatened to sue, but I'm sure you were scared because you had other clients that were disgruntled like me. Your Facebook ads will be your undoing, I'm a computer engineer you we...nt wrong. You know it and I know it so when it gets played out in a court of law this is going to go in our favor. You shouldn't have done Facebook ads. Because they also targeted your disgruntled clients. And you're disgruntled clients got together. Now I am looking for an attorney to take this on pro bono. Multiplaintive case, divorce Court malpractice. I don't know why but divorce proceeding seem to have a high probability of ending in a malpractice lawsuit.

Sketchy work ethics

Joshua turner used our information provided during the consult and used it against us by calling the people whom we were suing and warned them of the lawsuit in addition to threatening to “find” and “sue” me if my review was not taken down. I wouldn’t use this attorney to throw a birthday party let a...lone a case. RUN!!! Horrible Person and very sketchy work ethics. Joshua is headed to prison for what he’s done very soon. He works very hard at removing any negative reviews could believe that’s why he’s always dressed so unwell and completely unkept with mustard down the front of his shirt. This guy is bad business

Amazing attorney

Compassionate and caring family law attorney! Josh represented me in a family law case and was there every step of the way. He got the case resolved quick, worked well with my ex, but was not afraid to aggressively represent my interests. I highly recommend him!
