⸻ Extremely Disappointing Consultation – Dehumanizing, Rushed, and Unprofessional

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I feel it’s important to share my experience in hopes of helping others make an informed decision. I came into this consultation prepared, open, and hoping for guidance. What I received instead was one of the most dehumanizing and unempathetic interactions I’ve e...ncountered during a deeply personal and stressful time. From the outset, the attorney was rude, dismissive, and condescending. She immediately told me I hadn’t followed the proper steps—without first taking the time to understand the full context or review the facts. It was clear she hadn’t done her homework before jumping to conclusions and giving strong, judgmental opinions. I respect professionals who are honest and direct. But what I experienced was not honesty rooted in knowledge—it was a rush to judgment based on incomplete information. It felt like she had made up her mind before we even began, and she showed little to no interest in hearing my side. As a fellow mother, I expected at least a baseline of empathy or patience, and there was none. She didn’t just offer legal opinions—she undermined my confidence and left me feeling completely dismissed. I haven’t struggled with confidence in over a year, and yet that one consultation left me questioning myself in a way I haven’t felt in a long time. If you are looking for someone who will truly listen, review the facts before forming an opinion, and treat you with the empathy and respect every client deserves, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere

Thank you for sharing your feedback. I am truly sorry to hear that you left our consultation feeling dismissed—that is never my intention. I understand how difficult and emotional these situations can be, and I regret that our interaction added to your stress. However, I make it a point to be candid during a consultation because I feel this better serves my clients. Our goal in every consultation is to offer honest, informed guidance—even when that means providing a realistic and sometimes difficult assessment of a relocation case. We know this information can be difficult to hear, especially when the situation is already emotional, but we always strive to approach it with professionalism. During our meeting, I explained you should not hire me because I was unable to help get you what you want, and I suggested you may want to confer with a few other attorneys to seek additional opinions. That said, it is clear from your review that you felt dismissed rather than supported. I am truly sorry for that, but I did not want to mislead you. I wish you all the best as you move forward.

I was advised if I paid the $150 consult fee it would go towards my fees for her. She was aware that I am currently awaiting my disability and did not have a job yet she Took my money and when it came time to retain her, she was suddenly to busy with her case load to take me on despite taking my mone...y and telling me it would go towards my divorce fee.

We offer a discounted initial consultation fee of $150, and we provide legal advice during the consultation. According to my records, we met for the initial consultation in June 2024. Two (2) months later, i.e., in August 2024, you inquired about retaining me. Unfortunately, as we explained, we accepted a few other cases between the time we met in June and the time you wanted to retain me in August, and I was unable to accept your case due to my hectic trial schedule. However, as a courtesy, we issued a refund of $150 to you. I am sorry I was unable to help you, but I am unable to accept every case. We wish you the best of luck.

Not polite did not fight for me at all in court, unfair pricing.

I was thoroughly disappointed in how Angela represented me. I wish i would have picked someone else. I would suggest to anyone to ignore the high ratings and stars as I was completely disappointed in how she represented me and how much she charges for everything, including numerous issues and mistake...s that her and her staff had done.

I am sorry to hear that our services did not meet with your expectations. In our two (2) court hearings, we WON. Even though the opposing party wanted you to have supervised parenting time with your child, we were able to convince the Court that you are a good parent, and we obtained equal unsupervised parenting time. We did not make any mistakes, but we agree that the Court made a mistake, which we were required to correct. Also, as you know, we frequently put in more time on a case than we charge a client, and we provided you with substantial discounts in your case. Not good

I would urge potential clients to look for alternative representation/counsel. Ms. Peacock provided less than adequate representation at a high price. Ms. Peacock did not give me an assured feeling of good representation and was at times down right rude in her actions and mannerisms toward me, her pa...ying client. My recommendation would be to find another attorney who not only has adequate legal skills but also one who knows how to treat clients with respect and appreciation.

I am sorry for the frustration you experienced. I recognize that when a client retains me, he or she is often going through one of the most difficult times in their lives, and I believe in complete honesty about what the client can expect during his/her family law matter. Sadly, when I deliver information to a client that he or she does not wish to hear or that he or she disagrees with, I take the risk that the client may misinterpret or distrust my advice. I always strive to provide honest feedback to my clients so they can make informed decisions about their case. Worst person ever!

Never met a more rude person. She was unprofessional and belittling. Worse way of handling a consult situation. When you're worried about your child's best interest you're hoping to deal with someone who is nice. Even if you don't like what she is saying she could still be nice, which she was not at ...all. She was demeaning and rude. Never met anyone more rude in my life. She was disrespectful from the get go. Don't waste your time.

Because I have children, I understand that issues relating to parenting time and child support can be very emotional and often times stressful. However, I take pride in providing honest advice based upon the facts. After I heard about your expectations, I explained I was unable to assist you because I did not feel we were a good fit.
