Angela Y Peacock

Angela recently represented me in a very unique and emotional divorce case. She listened intently to all of the details during our meetings and was extremely understanding of the special circumstances surrounding this case. At the beginning of my divorce/relocation proceeding, I was using a different attorney, and I lived across the country. Initially, I made some poor decisions which was based upon some bad advice that I received from my first attorney. I wanted a second opinion, and I met with Ms. Peacock. After my ...initial meeting with Ms. Peacock, I immediately had my first attorney withdraw from my case, and I hired Ms. Peacock based on her knowledge, truthfulness and professionalism as a Certified Family Law Specialist. Ms. Peacock was very proactive, thorough and prepared throughout my case which took a year to conclude. Here are some examples: Ms. Peacock explained everything in depth to me, with examples and statues when applicable. I felt this displayed her knowledge of the law, thoroughness, and patience with me. Her straightforwardness and realistic view (even when I did not want to hear it) kept me grounded and ready for any proceeding/outcome to my case. Ms. Peacock responded to emails/phone calls in a timely manner. If she was not in the office- her wonderful legal assistant, Lisa, would get in touch with me, or Ms. Peacock would have an outbox email message to explain her absence and who to contact if anything significant were to arise. Ms. Peacock even emailed me while she was on maturity leave. That is dedication. To help ease my anxiety, Ms. Peacock would meet me prior to all major court proceedings for discussions, strategizing and preparation. It was apparent how well Ms. Peacock was organized and prepared in the issues and facts during my hearing and trial in comparison to the opposing counsel. Everyone’s case is different. If your case was as active as mine, be prepared for long nights and a lot of deadlines. In the end, Ms. Peacock's skills, knowledge, care and experience provided my family a positive outcome. Ms. Peacock handled my divorce. She is an excellent attorney who will tell you the TRUTH. As difficult and taxing as the divorce process is, I could not have asked for a better lawyer.
