Grateful for her expertise

I hired Michelle after a re-org at my former place of employment. My separation agreement was unclear and had conflicting information in it. Immediately after our initial consult I felt at ease and heard. She was able to explain the document to me, get the document corrected and run interference w...ith the organizations lawyer. Michelle was a level-headed expert in a confusing and unfamiliar time. Her expertise and professionalism was appreciated.

Review separation "Agreeement"/Negotiate a better package

My consultation with Ms. Matheson was very pleasant. She really listened as I told her what had occurred and was writing as fast as I talked. I was prepared with pertinent documents and she made copies of the ones that would be helpful. Her suggestions as to the items to be negotiated surprised me..., but were definitely the correct ones. She also stated that the employer could just say no or void the original agreement. It was my choice to retain her services to prepare a demand letter. At the end of the consultation meeting, I felt like she was a friend, not just an attorney. As it turned out, she was able to negotiate the entire agreement by phone, which greatly reduced the fee. And, she kept me informed during the negotiation process. I was amazed that the entire process was handled in such a short period of time, only 2 weeks. I would definitely recommend Ms. Matheson, she is ethical and will give you straight forward advice.

Extremely knowledgeable and great value

I was referred to Ms. Matheson for a non-compete question and interpretation. Not only was she thorough, but she explained things logically and in common terms that I understood. She is very personable and down to earth, which made the experience that much better. Finally, her fee was very fair, I ...don't think I have ever used the term "good value" when talking about legal services, but that is exactly what it was. What you get for your money is great information and a genuine concern for your issues. I highly recommend Michelle.

Extremely Professional

Great advisement!

Michelle was great! My husband and I needed a review of a contract and we could not have asked for a better lawyer to work with. She was friendly, smart, and extremely responsive. We feel safe and happy with our results of the contract. We did not want to sue, and she did not push us to at all. We di...d not even have to go into the office, we skyped with her which helped us out tremendously. She reviewed all our paperwork beforehand, and answered most of our questions without us even asking. I would highly recommend Michelle!
