A great resource to have in your corner!

Jamie represented my family for our adoption in Pinal County. It had been a rocky few years to get to that point, and when it came time for the adoption to happen, we were in the middle of the pandemic and our hearts were broken, that it was going to happen over the phone. She and her staff arrange...d to do the adoption via Zoom, and we got to see the Judge and her in person. It was very thoughtful, and meant a lot to our family! She provided us with a packet of forms, and realistic time frames for how to get things done after the adoption was final, and even help fix the mistakes the court made when they misplaced some of our paperwork. I would recommend her and her friendly staff to anyone looking for an ally in this difficult process!

Adoption Lawyer

I adopted my daughter though foster care in November and Jamie was great! Very responsive and knowledgeable. She was quick to let me know if something came up (cause with foster care something always does). She went above and beyond filing additional motions as additional hearings were needed prior t...o adoption due to somethings coming up that were unavoidable.

Guardian Angel

Ms. Myers was my foster/adoptive son's court appointed guardian ad litem and our guardian angel. I can honestly say that she saved my son's life and I am eternally grateful to her. She and her staff are not only professional but they are caring, compassionate, and dedicated advocates for their clien...ts. I had just moved to the state. I didn't know anyone and had very little knowledge of the system. She explained everything, made time & reached out to ensure I received the extra support I needed. She is incredible in the courtroom... smart, fast, and always one step ahead as an excellent lawyer should be. Ms. Myers advocated for my son for about a year and a half and then was also our adoption lawyer. There was no one else I wanted seated next to us on our adoption day. She is like family because she helped to create ours. I shudder to think of where my son would be today if she wasn't assigned to our case. I wish every foster child could have her as their GAL. She and her staff are truly Angels. I thank god for them and all of Arizona should as well.

not a lawyer I would use again

During my current case with the department of child protective services this attorney chose to do several things that finally made her withdrawing from my case a blessing. The first and most alarming was the fact that she was absent during my initial dependency hearing then missed my pretrial confe...rence and finally showed up for my mediation hearing and met me for the first time and after having the most non-productive client meeting which didn't last long led me into the mediation with a most reassuring request that I do her a huge favor and "just shut up and allow her to do all the talking" which I did just to have her agree that my legal process be slowed to a halt by the opposition like it was a good thing to do and I almost forgot that she had the gall to tell me that I needed to calm the waters with the agency who removed my child under the most baseless collection of lies that one could imagine. That not being bad enough she then accused me during the process of lying and misrepresenting the facts of my life and circumstances and when furnished with the facts that she was incorrect didn't even have the decency to admit it. Sadly she began hiding completely behind her staff to the point that I was wondering if her assistant would be a better choice to represent me. Then After cps re-scheduled three of our supervised visits in a row due to only one reasonable excuse (death of a loved one) she doesn't file any motion to object to my child being kept from seeing me even though there is a court order in place for that to be happening, she instead informs me that the oppositions attorney was in a fender bender and that she obviously isn't going to argue that the trial which is scheduled in just a matter of days should go on as scheduled and that I need to be more understanding . that would have been fine except that this debacle is already filled with slow-play tactics that anyone can clearly see and hey the fender bender lawyer was back at work doing just fine and yet the court date is now pushed out when trial would have brought him home and jamie myers has finally done the right thing and jumped ship and filed a motion to withdraw. So please consider that this experience could become your own and really think hard if your legal matter matters to you and your loved ones because mine obviously didn't matter to jamie myers
