Carolyn B. LeBlanc

Carolyn was my attorney for over 2 years though an extremely difficult divorce. She was thorough and incredibly knowledgeable about the law. I appreciated her integrity and honesty as she was always looking for ways to expedite the process and save me money. I have hired other lawyers in the past and... felt that their goal was to get as much money out of their clients as possible - this is not the case with Carolyn. She handles everything personally and is prompt to respond back. I could not recommend her enough!

If I could give Carolyn 6 stars, I would. I did my divorce on my own and had to come back 7 years later to fight for child support. Caroline had to clean up what I messed up and was always available when I felt scared, had questions, before trial, before anything. I could text her, email her. Opening... old wounds 7 years later was traumatic and scary, Caroline made me feel safe and strong. She asked questions, gathered facts, took notes, she made me feel like I was talking to a friend and not just another attorney. I will always recommend Carolyn!

Well this is a first. Writing a recommendation for a lawyer...something I never thought I would do. I have dealt with lawyers my entire life and know all the jokes but this MUST be done. Real quick about me - I have hung out with people such as Chuck Berry and Ross Perot Sr as well as ex-cons and hom...eless people. I have seen everything humanity has to throw at a person...until I met Carolyn. To set the stage I moved here from CO and my wife left with her girlfriend and took everything, including my dog. I needed someone quickly so I asked around. My criteria was the lawyer had to walk with honor and integrity while having the courage to tell me right from wrong. Someone that would tell me what I wouldn't want to hear but needed to hear yet would fight for what was right like like a Tasmanian Devil (look that little critter up. It's TOUGH.) So I was sent to visit Carolyn and she set me an appointment quicker than I could blink. She met me at the front desk and as soon as we were in the office she set out to work. She slipped in all of the pleasantries but she wasn't here to waste my time or money. I told her what I wanted and she lined out what was legal, moral, and ethical all while taking my raw emotions into consideration. She was always prepared and prompt at every meeting and court appointment. If we needed to have a quick meeting she would make an extra effort to accommodate my schedule. When the other lawyer (one that all the jokes are about) would begin padding her clients billing Carolyn would pull the plug and stop the meeting. On one occasion she didn't even charge me for the wasted time that the other lawyer was working on her client. There was not one moment that Carolyn wasn't the consummate professional. When I wanted something to happen because of my raw emotions Carolyn would be so patient and listen to everything I had to say and then explain to me in language I could understand why or why not we could/should not take that course of action. Again allowing me to cry and I think I may have actually raise my voice but she was always cool and calm through everything. If it was something I really felt/believed needed to be done or said due to my emotional condition or religious beliefs she would find the proper way to accomplish what needed to be done. I could go on and tell you every wonderful thing she is and does but I will stop with this. I have referred her to 3 others and they have all called and thanked me for what she did for them. If divorce didn't cause such harm to so many I would get married just to get another divorce using this wonderful professional. A happy man that would gladly give her a 6th star.

Divorce is a frightening event, that goes without saying. I could go on for days writing about what I have learned through this process, good and bad. The logistics with court are more than just understanding the structure. You have to have someone on your side that understands the important aspects ...of the process that are not written in the rule book. Demeanor, how best to respond, holding back emotions...etc. Mrs. Crook's most valuable asset outside of her care for your wellbeing is her honesty. She will tell you what you don't want to hear because you need to hear it. She will not allow you to go to court unprepared or emotional. She advises the good and bad, again, whether you want to hear it or not. She relies on truth and facts. I witnessed first hand other attorneys tell their client only what they wanted to hear and it didn't work out well as they were unprepared. Watching Mrs. Crook handle court during trial is nothing short of fantastic. Precise and factual with respect to all parties. You could see the appreciation from the judge and I believe that goes a long way having an attorney with a great reputation on your side as she has. I cannot thank Carolyn enough for her work and recommend her to everyone needing family representation.
