Vicki is a Certified Criminal Law Specialist who devotes 100% of her practice to criminal defense. She has decades of experience representing clients in the entire spectrum of criminal matters, from misdemeanors to major felonies, such as homicide and sex offenses.
Vicki received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Arizona State University, and a master’s in International Politics from the University of Southampton, England. She graduated from Arizona State College of Law in 1985. She is licensed to practice in the State of Arizona, the Federal District Court for the District of Arizona, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Vicki practiced criminal law as a public defender for years, handling thousands of criminal cases and taking hundreds of cases to trial. Vicki’s expertise and skills as a trial attorney have made her legendary in the local legal community. She is known to be a powerful and vigorous advocate for her clients in the courtroom.
In 2008, she became one of a select group of lawyers to become certified by the State Bar of Arizona as a Specialist in Criminal Law. Less than 1% of lawyers in Arizona are Board Certified in Criminal Law by the Arizona Board of Legal Specialization.
Vicki regularly speaks at conferences sharing her knowledge, skills, and creative practices on trial and defense strategies to other defense attorneys. She is an active member of various professional organizations, including Arizona Attorneys for Criminal Justice (AACJ) and The National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (NACDL).
Vicki resides in Phoenix. She has two daughters, and both of them are attorneys. She enjoys various arts, and crafts as an outlet for her artistic side, works out and is an avid NFL fan. She grew up in Chicago but now lives in Phoenix, so her two favorite teams are the Chicago Bears and the Arizona Cardinals.

Gilbert Traffic Case
