Poorly treaded employee

Abe is professional, personable and overly knowledgeable in all areas related to employee rights. Working with Abe will be the best decision you’ll make if you decide to pursue legal action. He’s on your side!

Employment Discrimination Case

Among a few dozen attorneys that we contacted in regards to my U.S. immigrant employment discrimination case, Abe Melamed was the most knowledgeable, from our first phone conversation. We are based in NYC, and due to specifics of my case, we were glad to find local NYC representation, also authorized... to practice in California. Abe exceeded our expectations by his level of knowledge in our rare case, following through the matter for 6 months till the end, quick turnaround, thorough lucid explanations, and personal commitment to the case. Our matter with a major U.S. corporation progressed substantially after engaging Abe in the official correspondence. We did not even hope to to get this far. The response we received with his help was a game-changer in our understanding of the case, and crucial in subsequent decision-making. We are pleased with the outcome and Abe’s professional support helped us make the best legal choice. I would definitely recommend Abe’s services, and will be glad to hire legal representation with him again.

Wrongful Termination

I worked for a government agency and felt that I was wrongfully terminated, so I contacted Derek Smith Law Group. The very beginning I knew I was at the right place. The receptionist took my information and transferred me to an attorney, which he asked me a couple questions and told me to bring in... all documentation that I had for a consultation. The documentation looked valid and so the attorney felt I had a strong case. We began immediately. He told me what was going to happen and how we were going to move forward. I don't know how many attorneys I called and nobody took my case or even wanted to meet with me. They all wanted money, to even sit and have a consultation. I must of called at least 40 lawyers and even some in other states. Abraham was appointed to my case a couple months after but has been in constant communication with me through email, phone or just had a paralegal relate the message. Which I find very important and just really professional of the company. I was surprised because there was not one time that I didn't know what was going on. My case was with them for a year and a couple of months. Abraham constantly kept me informed and if I just had questions, I could always email or call him. I didn't reach him all of the time but he always either called me, had the paralegal contact me and or sent me an email. To sum it all up, the end result wasn't what I expected but the law firm got me reinstated to the position at the end. This law firm and Abraham services are highly recommended if you need help, their great. What I got from the experience is that they are passionate about their work, sincincere about your concerns, knowledgeable about the topic and very professional.

Looking a great lawyer to fight for you... look no further Abe Melamed is your guy.

Had an amazing experience. It was my first legal matter and felt a bit uncomfortable at the beginning but Abe Melamed insured me that I had nothing to worry or be nervous about. He was always there to answer any questions and concerns I had. He was very professional yet down to earth at the same time.... His talent for law is displayed not only in convention as he discusses your case with you but in the court room. He managed to get me more in a settlement then even I thought possible. If you are having any kind of employment or discrimination troubles, Abe Melamed is the guy for you.

More than just talk.

Motivated, Passionate, Ambitious, Caring, Honest, Intelligent and Understanding are all the words that I would use to describe Abe Melamed. When I first met him and presented my case he made me feel so confident in the resolution and strength of my case as most lawyers do but only this time it wasn't... just talk. He ensured that all my concerns were taking care of. He made sure that he stayed in constant communication with me so that I would have input on every aspect of my case. His attention to detail and knowledge of the law is second to none. I'm forever thankful to him for all the hard work and dedication that he put into my case.
