Excellent family attorney!!

I hired him years ago, and again in 2018. Each time we had several court appeareances and he was victorious in each instance. I found myself needing his services from October 2018 until March of 2019 for another custody case stemming from the 1st time he represented me a few years earlier. He is very... down to earth, REASONABLY priced with easy payment plans, and has a great paralegal working in his office. I highly recommend his services if you are in need of a family law attorney as he has been 100% successful in every court appearance he has made on my behalf as his client!!!!!

GREAT ATTORNEY

Mr. Dick has represented my custody/family law case for several years and fought for my children's and my rights! He knows the laws, rules, and regulations of every aspect of a custody/family/divorce case - including dependency, guardianship, DCS issues, alcohol/drug dependency issues, and psychology.... Mr. Dick works with payments if needed and truly cares for your case and the outcome. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Would NOT recommend

At the beginning of the case, David knew exactly what our financial situation was and what we expected to get done. Even after paying my portion of the original retainer, he would accuse me of paying nothing. Luckily I kept my cashiers check receipt. Throughout the case, he would only respond wh...en he felt like it and questions would go unanswered for weeks on end. There was a creditor trying to come to an agreement and at first David claimed that this was not his problem, even though it was directly related to the business we were fighting for. Ultimately he agreed to deal with the creditor and dropped the ball, which resulted in additional legal fees charged by the collector. All the creditor wanted was for us to begin a payment plan. He became increasingly irritable and would tell my wife things like "Get a clue" when she asked how to obtain information he was requesting we obtain. This was a common thing considering we personally prepared most exhibits in our own time and made the folders and presentations for the items. When I told him that "Get a clue" wasn't as helpful of a response as informing us how to obtain the information, he basically held the case hostage and suggested we find a new attorney if we had a problem with it. At this point, we had no more money and had already paid the retainer. The case has been settled and before the decision to settle was made, David informed us that we would not be responsible for any remaining/additional balance if we avoided trial by accepting the settlement. We accepted the settlement. Even today David is still trying to argue with me through email after I have told him that there is nothing left to talk about since we no longer have any business to conduct. If you do hire David, which I would not recommend, I would keep all receipts of payment, as well as having all terms put in writing to avoid these disputes that still occur after the case is settled and dismissed.

Best intrest of my children

Yes I would recommend David. I have recommended him to many people already! -----He won my case to where I gained full sole custody (before I had only 1x a week) from the abusive dad that had money. David had a low retainer for the work he did, but worked with me on my retainer as well. He goes over ...and beyond to find the facts of my case to do what is in the best interest of my children. Knows the law, and is a stand up attorney in the courtroom - no push over! A definite 10 star attorney!
