I used this attorney back in 2009. She charged me a $4,000 retainer. My ex and I were able to work a lot of stuff out on our own, she she ended up having to do very little work for me. Well, she made sure she kept her $4,000 by charging for every little thing. She also left some very important it...ems out of the parenting agreement. She claims I told her to leave them out, but I did not. Any good lawyer would not have left them out. As another reviewer stated, she "nickeled and dimed". I feel that overcharged me for the work she did and that her work was inadequate.

From the very start Barbara put my heart and mind at ease. She lead and guided me through the whole scary process of the legal system; the unknown of what could happened to a very valuable person in my life. Barbara kept me calm and focused. My emotions can easily take me over but with her by my side... I felt empowered, well prepared and informed. Barbara was always on top of my case which made me feel like I was a priority! I highly recommend her for child custody and family law!

I hired Barbara to initiate child support payments and to modify my parenting time due to military relocation. She nickle and dimed me for every call and e-mail, though it usually took 3-4 e-mails to have my original questions answered. I was rarely able to deal with her and communicated through her... assistant - and then was charged again for Barbara reading the e-mails. She charged a high retainer fee and though I was assured this was a simple case and the amount should be sufficient, I ended up paying a considerable amount more. I was given incorrect advice and am still dealing with issues that I specifically asked her to address and she never resolved. I would never recommend her to anyone for any situation.
