Hired Tim to handle conservator and accounting for my mom . Just received a letter from the courts that my conservator ship and gaurdianship has been suspended!! Once he secured my business, He missed court deadlines multiple times, responded to every 10th email I sent him just to tell me how busy he...'s been, never ever returned my calls, never gave me any advice. Tim is "nice" and price seemed reasonable for the work. Maybe even on the cheap side. but lesson learned. Tim really didn't know what he was doing. He filed the first years accounting late, it was rejected and needed correcting and he never completed the work. Then he resigned saying he is moving out of state. As a result I have hired another attorney - better and costs more $$. You get what u pay for. If your under a lot of stress when looking for representation like I was, bring someone with you to the first consultation who can assess his qualifications and has good intuition.

This was an agonizing time for me (Divorce). Mr Steadman was allways available to me for any matter during this time. His attention to detail was critical in the outcome. He is articulate, respectfull of all present in the courtroom. That bein said, He can slice right through BS from your opposition... and will fight like a Rottweiler for you. LISTEN to his advice. Divorce is an emotional time. Things i thought woul be important during the case sometimes weren't. Things i didnt cosider were sometimes crical. I have recommended Mr Steadman since ny case.

I hired Steadman law firm in July of 2011 to handle my divorce case. Mr. Steadman agreed that my case seemed relatively straighforward as there were no children and my ex-spouse and I had agreed on the division of the assets. I told Mr. Steadman that I wanted the divorce to finish as quickly as pos...sible and so I quickly supplied him with all the documents his office requested. I asked Mr. Steadman to draft a settlement proposal on 7/19 and 8/8. He responded by e-mail on both occasions to say that he was reviewing the materials and would let me know if he had any questions. I did not receive any draft proposals from his office. Since I was charged for these emails requesting status, I kept my inquiries to a minimum. Mr. Steadman did not ask me to sign a retainer agreement. After searching several websites online, I found that a retainer agreement was required by law. I asked Mr. Steadman about this agreement and he seemed surprised that he did not ask me to sign an agreement. I went to his office on 8/5 and signed a retainer agreement. He is also supposed to supply me with a copy of this agreement but he did not. I received my first bill on 8/8 and I was surprised to find a charge for drafting a "letter of extension" to my ex-spouse. Typically, a spouse has approximately 60 days to file a response. I did not request nor did Mr. Steadman inform me that he had decided to do this. It was not in line with my request to expedite the divorce as quickly as possible. When I emailed the law firm, Mr. Steadman's paralegal told me that the "extension was not really granted" and that the courts allow additional time for a party to file a response. This did not match up with my billing statement. I did not receive any copies of this letter or any emails from Steadman law firm regarding an extension letter. At this point, I no longer trusted Steadman law firm and since little progress had been made regarding the case, I asked Mr. Steadman to stop work on the case on 8/24. When I went to pick up my file on 8/25, I found the copy of the letter Mr. Steadman had written granting my spouse an open ended extension to file a response to the case. Mr. Steadman sent my second and final bill on 9/23. He billed me for a draft settlement proposal which was not included in my file that I had picked up on 8/25. In summary, the lack of communication coupled with billing discrepancies in my case have led me to write this review so that others will take caution when choosing Mr. Steadman as a lawyer. I have since hired another law firm and I've been very pleased with the work that they did on my case.

Mr. Steadman handled our custody case. He was professional, ethical, and effective. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a good, honest family law attorney. His knowledge and experience is evident when meeting with him and when seeing him in court. Mr Steadman was responsive to all our ...concerns and questions and helped us get the result we desired in our case. His billing and payment terms are also more than fair.

Mr. Steadman is an outstanding attorney! He pays attention to detail, is accurate and knowledgeable on the law, and is extremely eloquent in his writings and in court as well. Mr. Steadman was able to do the impossible and battled against my ex-husband who is one of the top attorney's in the state ...of AZ. I was able to regain custody of my children due to Mr. Steadman's expertise. He returned phone calls in a timely manner, replies by emails even quicker, and he also has an outstanding staff that are very helpful. Mr. Steadman is very thorough, and pays attention to explicit detail. I have referred several people to Mr. Steadman, and will always be indebted to him for what he has done for me and my family. You couldn't ask for a better attorney.
