Family court

We got this guy as our public defender back in 1995, (pretty sure this is the correct Richard Sherb) in Phoenix, and he was an absolute pitbull in court and got us a victory. I have never forgotten him, nor what he did for me and my husband.

Poor excuse for an attorney

Opointed to represnet my minor son... when asked do you represent the county or are you his attorney he refused to answer ... crazy right.. then he tried to have courthouse balif tell me i dont have a right to be present even if my son requested i be present... The court appointed him and he walke...d away without giving is any way to contact him no name no number anything had to go back into courtroom where they said they would just give us a new lawyer in three weeks .. Most unprofessional low life i have ever encountered in the court house ever I would run far and fast from this guy ... he represnts the county not his clients And will only do the bare minimum and you will get convicted

This is my lawyer now, he is awful. He will not do anything unless I request it. That`s like a tow truck driver waiting for you to tell him how to hook up your vehicle . If I were so well versed in law, I would not need him. If you want proof ask and I will deliver. I have a hearing on Monday April 3...0 you can attend and bare witness to this less than adequate defense I have been given. Just deleting this is wrong. I face 19.25 years max and I have a guy representing me that cannot be reached by phone other than message. He walked out on me as I was being arrested for contempt and waited ten days to call and tell me nothing new in my case. This guy is paid for by the people of the United States . I am 100 percent sure nobody would hire himfor the piss poor service he provides.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
