Do not use this lady.

I urge you do not use this lady. I won't even call her a lawyer. She does not care about your case, she never returns call. She was very incompetent when we attended court. It was so embarrassing for me. If your making payments she will keep delaying your trial until you have payed her in full. DONT ...TRUST THIS LADY!! I fired her after the first court appearance and still waiting for my money to be returned. Once I fired her she took it upon herself to schedule me another court date seven days away to be honoree, not giving me time to seek new counsel.

Reviews are ok, but you need to meet and talk with this attorney to really make a decision.

I had already interviewed several other attorneys from mega size offices and was impressed with their credentials but over whelmed with the size of their office and all the fancy titles (like of consul, etc) and the "layers" of services they offered and frankly shocked at the flat prices I was quot...ed which were going to be non-refundable plus I was going to be responsible for a lot of extra expenses like travel time, xerox copies and who knows what else. This really bothered me and was the main reason I kept looking. I read a lot of reviews.. some excellent, some good and a few that almost made me cross this lawyer off my list. That would have been a mistake.... a huge mistake! A few minutes on the phone with the friendly and knowledgeable person who answered (I think a paralegal) convinced me to make an appointment for the very next day to meet the attorney to discuss our case. Her office was located just off the 10 at 44th street (Ahwatukee) and was just the opposite of the other offices I had visited. We were greeted by a very nice receptionist who had us sit in a nice conference room and brought us bottled water while we waited a few minutes for Melanie to join us. I am pretty sure her practice is just her and at least one paralegal and the receptionist. When she came in she made us feel very welcome for this interview. I was very impressed with her knowledge, experience and most important a feeling that she was really interested in our case and after listening carefully to the answers we gave to her questions I was honestly totally shocked when she said that she really felt that paying her a lot of money for her help was unnecessary. WOW! She also offered if there were problems that we still needed help with that she would be glad to become involved when we called back but she seemed confident that this case would have a positive outcome without her direct intervention. I kept her card and hope that we do not need her but if we do need her or if any of my friends do I will absolutely recommend her.
