As the personal representative for my brother's estate, I hired Jayne Sassano to represent the legal matters involving each heir. This was a very complicated case involving six heirs of families from five different states. Without Jayne Sassano, this case would have never been resolved in the mann...er that made each heir feel equitable, but because of her open communication to all, this case was brought to a conclusion that made each heir feel they were fairly represented. Jayne Sassano is knowledgeable, conscientious, direct in her manner, professional, and cares very much for her client(s). She never makes her clients feel rushed in their conversations with her, and listens clearly and with compassion. In all the time this case was going on, she NEVER charged for her hours of conversations with me, or other heirs, and there were many!! Her fees and costs are reasonable and fair. Here expertise of the law and the amount of research she does for her clients cannot be measured. She faced a number of legal opponents and won against all of them. When the judge made a ruling against our case, and me personally, Jayne considered a formal appeal to the Appeals Court, but Jayne first and immediately filed a Motion to ask the judge to reconsider. In less than 90 days the judge changed his mind, and obtained a favorable ruling for me. Jayne knew she was on the right side of the law, and the judge expressed this error verbally and his written decision in the court document. Jayne communicated often with other people involved even though they were not represented by lawyers so that everyone could have a voice and understand what was happening in this case. This is the type of ethical attorney and person Jayne Sassano is, she cares about everyone involved, even though there is no compensation for her personally.
