I've never been treated with less respect. Why? Because I didn't have a million dollar case. I had no health insurance and needed tests. Did they help? No. I was treated like an orphan. They didn't listen to me. They prevented me from speaking during the negotiations while they made one blunder aft...er the other. Communication? Nil. I was assigned a lawyer who did not like me asking simple questions. I cannot count the times I had to go over his head to get an answer. The settlement was woefully low. Because they didn't care. And a month after I received my settlement check, they sent me a check for $2. $2 to keep their accounting straight. And then the owner had the temerity to ask me to recommend them. Who is he kidding?
